Emily Jane Murray, M.A.

Public Archaeologist

Emily Jane Murray currently serves as the Public Archaeology Coordinator for the Florida Public Archaeology Network’s Northeast Regional Center. She earned a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Brandeis University and a Bachelors in Communications from Flagler College. She has excavated sites throughout the Southeastern United States and created numerous outreach tools including videos, activities, 3D models, and museum displays. Emily Jane currently serves as co-chair for Southeastern Archaeological Conference’s (SEAC) Heritage at Risk Task Force. Her specializations include 3D digital heritage, heritage at risk, historic cemeteries, and public archaeology and interpretation.
