This is a talk for the Trail of Florida’s Indian Heritage members, if you are interested in becoming a member please see their website here.
If you are interested in learning more about the HMS Florida program, including signing up to monitor sites, see our website here.
This talk will provide an overview of the Heritage Monitoring Scouts (HMS) Florida Program, a public engagement program that allows you to monitor cultural sites by taking photos and answering some basic questions. Each individual monitoring visit is entered into our Database and, over time, creates a record of changes at the site. This is a great way for site managers to keep a record of their sites, and a way to engage volunteers in visiting and monitoring sites.
