Join us for an archaeology hike at Hillsborough River State Park and discover the fascinating history behind this beautiful and unique landscape! As we explore the Rapids Natural Trail, we will discuss its rich human history, geology, and ecology – all of which plays a key role in the archaeology of this remarkable site.

This hike will be approximately 1.5 miles over uneven terrain. Please wear closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray. Bring plenty of water and snacks as needed.
The hike will take approximately 2 hours.
PARKING: Park at parking lot 3 and meet us at the gazebo near the bathrooms.
ENTRY FEE: Entrance to the park is $6.00 per vehicle or $4.00 for single occupant vehicles.
